If you need to make quick work of a digging job, the Kubota U17 is the mini digger for you. The Kubota U17-3A Mini Digger (to use its full name) provides excellent digging depth and reach. Kubota’s mini digger delivers powerful performance and the use of new short-pitched rubber crawlers helps minimise vibration during travel for improved operator comfort. The unique E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) enables high-energy output, low vibration and low fuel consumption, while minimising exhaust emissions. With its expandable undercarriage, this mini excavator can narrow to get through tight spaces and widen again to offer stability.

This mini digger offers you the versatility and performance to complete almost any task. Kubota's zero-tail swing makes the U17-3a Kubota a highly advanced excavator, notable for its 360 degree swivel, excellent stability and smooth control. All this is combined with unmatched power and efficiency, which means there are no limits to what you can accomplish - even in heavy traffic areas and inside buildings.

This mini excavator offers a wide range of all-important safety features, such as its ROPS / FOPS canopy, as well as safer loading and unloading. This is partially due to Kubota’s unique hydraulic system, which enables straight travel even during simultaneous operations. And to round it all off, routine maintenance has never been easier thanks to the rear bonnet, side covers and under-seat cover, which can all be opened up without the need for tools. That allows you quick access to the engine oil gauge, radiator, and battery – as well as the air filters and fuel filters!

The machine is also supplied with an anti-theft system. The Kubota one-key system has an IC chip, which only starts the engine when the system recognises the appropriate key. Only 'programmed keys' will enable the engine to start on the excavator, giving you the peace of mind that your equipment couldn't be in safer hands.
