Pricing Coordinator

Smiths Hire are the Northwest’s Largest Independent Equipment Hire Company with 18 Hire It Centres located across the Region. In a period of expansion, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pricing Coordinator at our Head Office.

Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd operates as an independent equipment hire company, with 18 ‘Hire It Centres’ situated across the North of England.

The primary role involves preparing quotations, pricing documents, and handling administrative tasks for the sales team. This includes daily use of Excel, reports, and in-house systems.

We are looking for a team member for our head office sales team in Blackpool who has a strong affinity for numbers and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client pricing administration
  • Handle general customer pricing queries
  • Assist sales team with admin tasks
  • Prepare quotations for sales and customers
  • Review and organize individual client pricing with sales team
  • Coordinate data and pricing updates with third parties
  • Help team members meet client deadlines when needed

Essential to the role:

  • Enjoy working with data.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and punctual.
  • Organised and supportive.
  • Strong team player.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
