Our New Wigan Depot Is Now Open

Our brand-new Smiths Hire depot in Wigan is now open, giving local trade and construction customers faster access to tool hire, plant hire and powered access equipment.

Smiths Hire is proud to announce that our brand-new Wigan depot is now officially open, having welcomed customers from Monday 26th January 2026. 

This marks our 19th depot, expanding our network alongside our Blackpool head office and 9 regional Training centres strengthening our service across the North West.
