Introducing the brand-new Smiths Training pod – offering IPAF and First Aid courses at our Blackburn depot. A cutting edge, self-contained unit, ideal for all of your training needs.

At Smiths Hire we are constantly pushing the boundaries of our business, our owners and Chairmen, David & Thomas Smith are pushing the business into the future by means of introducing new equipment to our fleet and modern technologies to our ever-growing capabilities.

This forward-thinking mindset is also apparent in our Smiths Training brand as we have made some big changes to this evolving area. We are consistently adding new training courses as well as an e-Learning portal to support our customers’ needs.

As part of our evolution, we are pleased to announce the growth of our Training Centre network – introducing the first Smiths Hire Training Pod!

The new Training Pod is a self-contained unit located at our Blackburn depot. The Training Pod project has been spearheaded by our Training Manager, Katie Patchett, who has done such a great job to bring this vision to fruition with the support of the Operations department and the Blackburn depot team.
