What is the Hire Awards of Excellence?

These Awards celebrate the achievements of hire and supply companies across the UK’s plant, equipment, tool and event hire industries. They have a range of various different Award categories that can be won by successful companies in the industry. After putting in a huge amount of work to our website to ensure a greater user experience for our customers, we were extremely delighted to be presented with the Hire Website of the Year 2021 Award.

The Year of 2021

Although this past year has presented us with a whole range of different challenges which required changes to be implemented, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, this did not stop us. Recent times have highlighted the importance of having a good online presence and a website that customers are able to access whatever the circumstances. For these reasons, we were particularly proud to achieve an Award for our website despite the uncertainty of the past year.

As previously mentioned we strongly recognise the importance of having a strong online presence, particularly in recent months. We were delighted to be able to provide our loyal customers with the tool and equipment hire services that they required throughout these difficult times. Although work was largely brought to a halt, many construction workers were required to still work throughout the pandemic, meaning that access to the relevant tools was essential. We were extremely proud to be able to provide our customers with the equipment they needed using our website. We are continuously striving to make our services and website more accessible and user-friendly to the general public, which is why this Award was so important for the team here at Smiths Hire.
