Returning Items

You can notify us you would like to return an item up to 14 days after you receive it using our RMA request form. We will review your request and contact you with details on how to proceed.

Returns are paid for by the customer or you can return your item to your nearest Smiths Hire Depot.

Please note, some items contain batteries requiring a specialist courier service, so please bear this in mind when returning your items.

Unless your item is faulty, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange unless your item is faulty.

We regret there are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted, for example, if an item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. We will inform you of this in advance.
