Business Development Manager

Smiths Hire are the Northwest’s Largest Independent Equipment Hire Company with 16 Depots located across the Region. Due to expansion and positive growth within the business, we now seek an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to cover Lancaster and the surrounding area.

We are looking for a talented, tenacious and professional person who is looking for a new challenge in the Lancaster area. We seek someone who is not only a competent sales person, focused on meeting and exceeding set sales and business targets, but also someone who is confident in researching, identifying and acting on new business opportunities, who thrives on the challenge of bringing in new contracts and up-selling services to existing clients. You will need to be able to think strategically and see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve our business.

Naturally you will be a professional at building long-term business relationships too, with communication and presentation skills that are second to none, your enthusiasm will truly shine through!
